I know the feeling about getting and giving "stuff" in the past. For the past few years, however, we've all being trying to put more thought into our gifts, and many of them this year were made with love. For instance, one of my daughters made a scrapbook for me that was filled with pictures, recipes, and memories of her "granny," my mother. I LOVE it and have found myself looking at it several times. Last year this same daughter gave me (all of us actually) three DVDs that contained all of the edited home movies that my father had made in the past. It was so wonderful to look at them and see my parents (who are now deceased) and my children and nieces and nephews (who are now young adults). Last year my son gave me a DVD of many of the short videos taken on his mission, and I don't even have the words to express how much it means to me. All that to say, I'm sure you'll find the perfect gift for your daughter.

Just read your blog - it's been a month since reading your updates. You, Margaret and Christy are so blessed, and I am more blessed to know the three of you. You are an inspiration to Ron and I - we love you so much. It is exciting to know of your new calling on the activities committee. What a way to get your feet wet!!!!!!!!!!!!!I thoroughly enjoyed seeing you guys at the family breakfast. It was wonderful feeling the spirit, relaxing, and eating great food. Thanks so much for sharing the feelings of your heart. You have great courage. We are humbled by your desire to serve the Lord in paying tithing, and add our testimony of the great blessings that come from keeping this commandment.
